Board member Christine Reisen has been in contact with SUNNY SIDE OF THE DOC, discussing  and negotiating a kind of supporting partnership and collaboration between them and EURASF.

For 30 years, SUNNY SIDE OF THE DOC has become a major international marketplace for documentary and specialist factual content across all platforms. Each year, the 4-day event brings together broadcasters, decision makers, financing bodies, distributors, content creators and producers from around the world to sell or buy projects and programmes, and to find coproduction partners. Sunny Side of the Doc creates unique opportunities for all +2,000 professionals from 50 countries, to follow the latest industry trends, present 700 untold stories, make new connections and embrace interactive forms of storytelling including virtual reality, through a variety of high-level pitching sessions, panel discussions, networking activities and the added value of an exhibition space. The 30th edition will be held in La Rochelle, France, from June 24-27, 2019. A special attention will be given to EUROPEAN talent and endeavors, new production and financing pipelines and new creative connections.

GERMANY will be the country of honor in 2019 and the spotlight will be put on SCIENCE at this anniversary edition.

Christine can already announce that SSD will give us the opportunity to hold a GLOBAL MEETING of EURASF on the spot during these days. The meeting would be a part of the market's agenda (on invitation only) and there will be an adapted conference room at our disposal.

Furthermore, there is a dynamic cooperation in negotiation - together with SUNNY SIDE and another potential international supporting partner. This action would highlight the members, member-festivals and incubating and other actions of EURASF, as well as bring visibility and a valuable essor in the midst of one of the leading international documentary market places.
